In 2023, we spent $106,045 helping 404 Weld RE-4 residents within 144 households remain safely in their homes. The majority of this was spent on rent payments of $77,766, while $27,363 was spent on utilities. There are several state programs which help residents with their heat, water and electricity payments (LEAP and EOC) so we refer our residents to them first. We paid out an average of $8837 each month in 2023.
Our 9-member all-volunteer board spent over 1600 hours interviewing every client, confirming their payment needs, and keeping Stepping Stones of Windsor running. We have no paid staff and over 99.9% of our administrative costs were paid for by our board members.
