2021 Statistics

For Stepping Stones of Windsor, 2021 was more ‘normal’ than 2020. In 2021, we provided $36,093 to help 45 households with rent payments and $16,204 to help pay past-due utility bills for 42 households, ultimately helping 191 individuals stay in their homes. We were able to help almost twice the number of households we had helped in 2020.

Our all-volunteer board put in 875 hours in 2021 to ensure clients were served well. We continue to rely on small local and federal grants as well as our very generous local donors. Our expenses continued to be less than 5% (website maintenance, office expenses, liability insurance) allowing us to pass at least 95% of our funds to clients in need. In 2022, we hope to ensure that residents in the Severance, West Greeley, and Windsor communities (the area served by the RE-4 School District) know about Stepping Stones of Windsor and how to get help when they need it. Please let us know if you can help spread the word in any way.
