2024 Statistics

In 2024, we spent $75,038 helping 324 Weld RE-4 residents within over 100 households remain safely in their homes. About two-thirds of this money was spent on rent payments of $53,810, while $21,228 was spent on utilities. This works out to an average check of $682. There are several state programs which help residents with their heat, water and electricity payments (LEAP and EOC) so we refer our residents to them first. We paid out an average of $6253 each month (compared to $8837 in 2023). Our all-volunteer board spent over 1250 hours interviewing every client, confirming their payment needs, and keeping Stepping Stones of Windsor running. We have no paid staff and over 99.9% of our administrative costs were paid for by our board members.
